I'm upset

Nana is upset
I'm upset because Papa has removed my wooden home from my cage again. Yesterday night he saw a bump under my tail and he said that maybe the door is too small for me. I guess he's calling me fat. Looks like we will go to see Dr. Ozawa later to ask about this little bump.

In the meanwhile I've filled my small ceramic bed with tissue and made a nest there. It's smaller, but the ceramic feels fresh.

Papa came for a visit

Shy CocoCoco exploring around his cage
Papa came to visit Mama and I could play with him for a while. In the beginning I was a bit shy because I couldn't remember his smell very well. I played on his hands for a while and I could pick up some of my sister Nana's scent because Papa had been playing with her before. Later he put me on the floor. I went to explore around my cages and then I ran a bit around the living room.
Coco's BIG privates
No! Don't show my privates to everybody! I'm shy!

Back in my wooden home

Nana sleeps inside her wooden house
Papa removed my wooden home from my cage when I got sick and Dr. Ozawa put those stitches in my tummy. He said that he was worried that I might hurt my belly.

Now that I don't have the stitches anymore Papa brought my home back. He left some tissue paper nearby after cleaning my cage, and I took it and made a new nest inside.

I'm very happy to have my comfy home back.

Bye, stitches!

Nana's stitches removed
Papa took me to see Dr. Ozawa again. I thought that maybe he was going to put more things in my belly like he did the last time, or give me more of that yummy medicine (Papa doesn't give me more because I already drank it all).

But no. He didn't give me anything or put things on me. Instead, he removed MY stitches. Papa held me facing up while Dr. Ozawa cut the wires carefully with a pair of scissors. I didn't feel anything when he cut and removed the first two, but he had some trouble removing the third and it hurt me a bit. I got a bit nervous and wanted to leave, but Papa was holding me to make sure that I wouldn't move. In a few minutes he had removed all of them. Dr. Ozawa took me and played with me for a few moments. He checked my belly again and said that I was fine.

What I don't understand is why he removed MY stitches. I already got used to them. The first days after he opened my belly they hurt a lot, but lately they didn't hurt at all. I think they looked cool, like the one that Papa has on his tongue.

Now I have a very big scar in my belly. Soon it will be difficult to see because my fur is growing back. Perhaps I should ask Papa to shave me sometimes so I could show it to everybody...

Hot weather

Luna sleeps in a corner of her cage
It's very hot these days. When I came to this home some time ago I was very warm and comfortable sleeping in my tissue paper nest, but now I can't sleep in it because it's too hot. That's why I get out of my nest and sleep in a corner of my cage.

Papa saw me sleeping like this yesterday. Since then, when he goes to work he leaves the cold-weather-making machine switched on. It's not so hot anymore and I can sleep again on my nest.
