Don't even think about running away, Mr. Yogurt!

Luna eats yogurtLuna eats yogurt
Yesterday when I was playing on the floor I saw Mr. Yogurt sitting in front of the TV stand. He wasn't moving, so maybe he was sleeping. I approached veeeery carefully to avoid waking him up. I sniffed him and he didn't move, so I put my head inside him and I ate a lot of Mr. Yogurt.

He's a very nice guy (and tastes good too). I hope I will meet him again!

Nicole on Thursday, October 26, 2006:

Hello beautiful ignore these sick people, I know what you meant.

starrburstsnickers on Thursday, October 26, 2006:

nicole, chill...

obviously english is not javi's first language and he may perhaps have missed how strange some of it sounded.

of course we all know what javi meant (because it's javi writing this stuff, silly, not luna).

again, chill, dahling...

starrburstsnickers on Thursday, October 26, 2006:

ps: name calling is totally uncool...

Javi, just wanted to say I LOVE your site. Great concept, and it's great you love your hamhams so much. If you would like to see my little bebbehs, they are on my flickr page. i have two boy ratlings names squidgen and kiflin, and three girl mice named espresso, ginger and splotch. i am sure they would be very pleased to meet luna, nana and oscar's acquaintances. btw, i have been to japan before and travelled through several parts of it. it's so beautiful and i can understand why you'd live there. the language barrier must be really hard though! and the cultural rules are so different there. i am myself a malaysian living in australia, so i know a bit about what it's like to have to deal with fundamental life changes! but the transition from spain to japan must have been amazingly difficult! kudos to you for coping!

yeah i noticed the dodgy phrasing as well. funny but a cute site nether the less

CatFish1 on Thursday, October 26, 2006:

I dont see a thing wrong with the pharsing, after all its a hamster "talking",not an English professor. Get over it.

al on Thursday, October 26, 2006:

my friend in highschool had a book on 'street spanish' that had a chapter warning you of things not to say. one phrase, you thought you were saying 'let's go clamming by the seashore' but what people would think you were saying was 'let's f--- fa---ts by the seashore'. most of the other stuff were things like saying 'great melons' which people would think was in reference to your boobs.

i always thought this was kind of ridiculous. if someone was looking at melons, and said in english, nice melons, english speakers wouldn't assume they meant boobs. they -might- think, ha, but would understand and definitely not consider it 'dodgy' phrasing. however, apparently i was wrong.

situations in which not to see the funny side of things: funeral, emergency room in hospital, natural disaster causing deaths of thousands.

situations in which to take things lightly and with a sense of Humour: when a hamster in japan posts messages on her blog about eating yoghurt.

if none of the above makes sense to you, feel free to flame me some more.

now i have to go back to writing my 10,000 word thesis on free will and consciousness which is due on monday. sigh...

It seems like everyone needs to calm down - yes we all know what Luna - or Javi as the case may be meant - and starburstsnickers was just trying to be funny. It's a great website - lets just all enjoy it.

Undoubtedly you would have caught up with Mr. Yogurt if he tried to run away! And you're so cute anyway, I think he would have waited for you.
